Robert Kagan om hamre og søm

One British critic of America’s prospensity to military action recalls the old saw “When you have a hammer, all problems start to look like nails.” This is true. But nations without great military power face the opposite danger: When you don’t have a hammer, you don’t want anything to look like nails.

Robert Kagan: “Of Paradise and Power”, p. 27-28.
